Getachew Patented Creativity Engineering is a social enterprise based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, led by Getachew Gebrehiwot, a deeply passionate innovator. The initiative began with a personal family situation, where a close family member became disabled and required daily care. In response, Getachew developed his first innovation—a Hygiene Bed—followed by a sanitation wheelchair. This marked the beginning of his commitment to creating practical hygiene solutions for people with disabilities.
